Sunny days in Thessaloniki

After the coldest week I remember, the sun finally came out and yesterday was a gorgeous day. I used the opportunity to get out of the house after finals week was finally over and soak up the sun as much as possible. I live quite close to the water front, so I got a cappucino to go and spent a great day with my boyfriend. I can’t wait for the weather to get better!

A walk down memory lane

In July 2013 the most horrible thing in the world happened.

My computer crashed and I lost everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. 3 years worth of pictures following my College life, including travels abroad and the most unforgettable times gone in an instant. Every single document I ever wrote also disappeared. Ever since, I back up everything I have on an external drive and I cannot stress enough how important it is to do that. In a world where “developing pictures” are a thing of the past and now considered “vintage”, it is of the essence to save every moment you capture and lord knows we capture a lot.

While thinking of different concepts and types of posts I would upload to this blog, I realized that I could retrieve a relatively large portion of those photos from social networks. I saved almost everything I have ever uploaded over time and I would like to share with you some of my REALLY old looks and outfits over the last two years.

Hope you enjoy them! I certainly did. And by that I mean I spent an antire afternoon laughing at myself and my previous fashion faux pas. Which is fine to be honest. If you ever look back at your old photos and laugh- that’s great because it means that you attempted to be experimental and came out of your comfort zone. So kudos to all of us!

Kuwait Diary

As I mentioned in my previous post, over the holidays I travelled to Kuwait. Kuwait in the “winter” time is usually rather pleasant and temperatures rarely drop under 15 degrees. This year decided to be the exception. For someone who has spent at least 20% of her lifetime packing you would think I would have learnt how to do it properly and sensibly by now. I however, ended up bringing a bunch of spring clothes with me and ended up having to buy a lot of things as well as borrowing clothes from my mom. Luckily enough we wear  roughly the same size so that was a blessing in disguise. I’m not complaining! I bought great coats, I found the Cambridge Satchel bag in a green colour at a ridiculously low price and so ended up bringing back a lot of great bargains. It was a great getaway but I had to go back to reality soon enough. I hope everyone had a great holiday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

2k14- Already??

As expected, I’ve been absolutely dreadful in keeping up with this blog. However since it is the new year where people make new resolutions (and usually give up on them by January 7th) I do have some new outfits lined up! As I do every year, I made my winter pilgrimage to Kuwait without exception and will be posting photos from there. I hope everyone has a great new year and sticks to the unrealistic resolutions we all make. Goodbye and good riddance 2013!

P.S Check out my Tumblr! ( Since I am technologically disabled I do not know how to add a widget for it on my blog, but here it is anyway if you want to know what I’m up to on a daily basis!
