After the coldest week I remember, the sun finally came out and yesterday was a gorgeous day. I used the opportunity to get out of the house after finals week was finally over and soak up the sun as much as possible. I live quite close to the water front, so I got a cappucino to go and spent a great day with my boyfriend. I can’t wait for the weather to get better!
In July 2013 the most horrible thing in the world happened.
My computer crashed and I lost everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. 3 years worth of pictures following my College life, including travels abroad and the most unforgettable times gone in an instant. Every single document I ever wrote also disappeared. Ever since, I back up everything I have on an external drive and I cannot stress enough how important it is to do that. In a world where “developing pictures” are a thing of the past and now considered “vintage”, it is of the essence to save every moment you capture and lord knows we capture a lot.
While thinking of different concepts and types of posts I would upload to this blog, I realized that I could retrieve a relatively large portion of those photos from social networks. I saved almost everything I have ever uploaded over time and I would like to share with you some of my REALLY old looks and outfits over the last two years.
Hope you enjoy them! I certainly did. And by that I mean I spent an antire afternoon laughing at myself and my previous fashion faux pas. Which is fine to be honest. If you ever look back at your old photos and laugh- that’s great because it means that you attempted to be experimental and came out of your comfort zone. So kudos to all of us!
As expected, I’ve been absolutely dreadful in keeping up with this blog. However since it is the new year where people make new resolutions (and usually give up on them by January 7th) I do have some new outfits lined up! As I do every year, I made my winter pilgrimage to Kuwait without exception and will be posting photos from there. I hope everyone has a great new year and sticks to the unrealistic resolutions we all make. Goodbye and good riddance 2013!
P.S Check out my Tumblr! (http://flowerchildbaby.tumblr.com/). Since I am technologically disabled I do not know how to add a widget for it on my blog, but here it is anyway if you want to know what I’m up to on a daily basis!
On the way back from Milan, I made a little pitstop in Crikvenica, Croatia.

Recently I visited Milan with my family in order to drop off my younger brother who will be studying in Bocconi University in the fall. It was another first for me this summer, seeing as how I had previously only visited Florence, Trieste, Venice and Padua. Milan felt like home, it has such an old and welcoming soul. Even though we stayed for 4 days, it felt like I had lived there forever. Definitely can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been so bad with keeping up with this blog, I promise I’ll do better! This summer has been a whirlwind to be hoenst. I’ve been to a lot of places, I’ve travelled around and yet I still want to visit more places! Summer is never long enough for me. In July, two of my friends came to Thessaloniki and stayed with me for a few days and then we went off to Corfu! The island is where my boyfriend’s family is from and it was absolutely breath taking. It was also the first island I’ve ever been on but after this trip, definitely not the last! Here are a few photos from Thessaloniki and Corfu. Everyone who has not been to Corfu HAS TO GO.
