I’m pretty sure most people are acquainted with the Robin Thicke song “Blurred Lines” , which I LOVE. I listen to it all the time, this and Get Lucky are the best songs out there right now, in my opinion. The song has also raised a lot of dust with regards to its “misogynist” undertones and the fact that the girls in the video were objectified to which I say : Look at the rest of the videos on the internet right now! Which Hip Hop or Rock video is NOT being misogynist?? HOWEVER the point of this post is to try and recreate the looks the models in the video had. All 3 girls wore white with gold accessories. Through the website http://www.nastygal.com , I was able to find almost exact duplicates of their outfits. Enjoy 🙂
This summer has to be one of my favorites with regards to the current trends. It’s all about being minimalist with pops of color on your accessories, shoes or bags. This summer’s trends are also great because you might not actually need to buy anything new, you could probably find most things in your closet already! Or even rummage through your mom’s closet because there are a lot of 90s accents for this summer. Postman bags, crop tops, midi skirts, long skirts and round glasses.
1. Crop Tops
2. Colorful Bags
3. Boyfriend Jeans
4. Metallic Details/Accessories
5. Midi skirts
6. WHITE WHITE WHITE
7. And don’t forget :
That’s all from me dear readers! And remember : Dress wisely and always, ALWAYS take off one piece of accessory before you leave the house!

Ever since I wrote my first post yesterday, I couldn’t help but wonder what on earth was my second post going to look like? Was it going to be an outfit or another post? Then I realized, that I don’t have a functioning camera at the moment. My future as a fashion blogger looks so promising doesn’t it? So, instead, what I decided to do was share with you guys my “recent” trip to Kuwait this year in February. I grew up here and I go back every winter to visit my parents. This year however, I decided to bring my friend Maria along for the Magic Carpet Ride! We had a great time, so here are some photos from that trip.

This has to be the 10th blog I have started in the last 4 years and I give up on maintaining it every. single. time. This time, I’m doing things differently. My main goal behind starting a fashion blog is that first of all I follow so many and I always wished I could do the same. Another reason is that a lot of people have asked me throughout the years for various fashion advice and so why not make it available via the internet? It is hard writing that sentence and not coming off as a pretentious Prima Dona but I mean it in the most humble way possible. My name is Dina and I intend to post photos of my outfits as well as style advice for anyone who cares to read or listen to me! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t give up on this blog too.. 10th time’s the charm!
